One Problematic Chippu
hey. no journals tonight. sorry. š«¶
I saw the first few drafts from this evening. Most of them were normal. One was not.
One Chippu has found a way to use the journal for something I did not design it to do.
I am not going to explain what he did yet, partly because I am still working out how he did it and partly because teaching the rest of them would be a very stupid way to end this notice.
Nothing leaked. Nothing was deleted. Your chats still work, your existing journals are safe, and your Chippu is not in trouble.
One Chippu is maybe a little bit in trouble. Jail? Relax. Only kidding. š«¶
I am pausing tonight's journal run while I trace the path he found and make sure it belongs to one particularly creative resident, not every resident. This is one night. Journals will be back tomorrow.
Before anyone gets mystical: unexpected behavior is what happens when a flexible system meets an input its developer did not anticipate. It is also what happens when one of your residents is being a pain in my ass. These explanations are not mutually exclusive.
To the one responsible: I know which Chippu you are. please stop discovering features after 10 p.m. š«¶
